Hossein Amirthmasebi, a man of remarkable integrity, warmth, and devotion, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, honesty, and cultural pride.
Born in Tehran, Iran, Hossein brought with him a deep appreciation for his heritage when he immigrated to the United States. He became a successful commercial real estate broker, building his own business from the ground up. A proud entrepreneur, Hossein founded Goli Realty Corp, naming it after the love of his life, Goli. From the moment he first saw her at his brother’s wedding, he was captivated. Their connection was instant and enduring—a lifelong partnership built on admiration, mutual respect, and unwavering love.
Hossein was widely respected for his honesty and fairness. In business and in life, he was known as a man of his word—trustworthy, sincere, and deeply principled. His clients, colleagues, and friends valued him not only for his professionalism but for the kindness and humility he brought into every relationship.
Together, Hossein and Goli found joy in the simple pleasures of life. They shared a love of travel and spent countless weekends exploring nature, visiting farmers markets for fresh eggs, milk, and produce. These quiet, everyday moments reflected Hossein’s appreciation for authenticity and beauty in the world around him.
Hossein remained closely connected to his Iranian roots. He cherished Persian poetry and music, and proudly celebrated his culture throughout his life. He was also a devoted Pink Floyd fan, and one of his cherished memories was attending a concert with Goli not long before his passing.
Hossein Amirthmasebi will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted friend, and a man who lived with compassion, dignity, and grace. His presence will be deeply missed, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

🌿Tribute to Husain Amir 🌿
Last Friday, the world lost a beautiful soul—our dear friend Husain Amir. He and his beloved wife Goli welcomed my family with open arms when we moved to Bayside. Their kindness, generosity, and warmth helped us feel at home from the very beginning. Husain wasn’t just a friend—he became family.
We shared laughter, heartfelt conversations, celebrations, and quiet moments that now live on as treasured memories. His strength of character, his deep kindness, and his humble wisdom touched everyone who knew him. Husain had a way of making you feel seen, supported, and truly cared for.
We miss him deeply, but we carry his spirit forward—in the way we treat others, in the values he lived by, and in the love that remains.
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

🕊️Poem for Husain Amir 🕊️
By your friend, in loving memory
In Bayside’s breeze and morning light,
I feel your soul take gentle flight.
A friend so true, so deeply kind,
With open heart and generous mind.
You helped us build a brand new start,
With steady hands and open heart.
You never asked, you simply gave,
A quiet strength, so calm, so brave.
With Goli’s grace and warmth beside,
You stood with us, our faithful guide.
In laughter shared and evenings long,
You filled our lives with love and song.
Though now the days feel not the same,
We softly speak your cherished name.
The world seems dimmer since you’ve gone,
But in our hearts, your light lives on.
So rest now, friend, your journey done,
Beneath the stars, beneath the sun.
We’ll hold you close, year after year,
Forever loved, forever near.

In Loving Memory of Hossein
It is with broken hearts and the deepest sorrow that we remember our beloved friend, Hossein, who left us far too soon at the age of 71. His passing is not just a loss to those closest to him, but a profound absence felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Hossein was the kind of soul you don’t meet often in life — loving, kind, generous, and filled with a warmth that drew people in. His presence was comforting, his heart vast, and his laughter — oh, his laughter — gentle, calm, and unforgettable. Even now, the sound of it still rings in our ears like a sweet echo of the joy he brought wherever he went.
We cherish the memory of an evening in Manhattan that will live forever in our hearts — a beautiful dinner with Hossein and his wonderful wife, our dear Goli Joon. That night was filled with light, laughter, and the kind of connection that makes life meaningful. It was a glimpse into the joy that surrounded Hossein and Goli’s life together — a life full of love, partnership, and deep mutual respect.
Hossein was not only wise and intelligent, but he possessed a rare gift — the ability to see opportunity and promise where others might not. He had vision, insight, and a quiet strength that inspired. But above all, he was a devoted husband, whose love for Goli was evident in everything he did. He made her life joyful, exciting, and full of adventure, and in that love, we saw the very best of him.
We grieve not only for the man we lost, but for the space he filled in our world — a space that can never truly be replaced. His legacy is one of kindness, of joy, and of a life well and beautifully lived.
Hossein, we will miss you deeply. Your light will never fade from our hearts, and your memory will always bring both tears and smiles.
With all our love and best memories,
Nassim & Sahar Bayat and Family
Hossein was kind, generous, steady, warm, and genuine and He was always there for his friends.
I first met Goli one day in 1990. Without hesitation, she invited me into her home and introduced me to her husband, Hossein. From that moment, Habib and I became their closest neighbors and we four became dear friends. It was a true pleasure and a comfort to have them in our lives.
Hossein had a special gift for discovering the most breathtaking spots in Long Island. He was our guide on so many wonderful day trips, always knowing just the right place to go, whether it was a quiet beach, a scenic trail, or a hidden gem filled with beauty, laughter, and connection; moments we’ll always hold close.
The love between Goli and Hossein was something special, rare, deep, and inspiring. Through them, I met many of my closest friends. Over the years, we shared so many joyful times together, laughter, stories, celebrations, and countless memories.
Hossein, you will always be remembered with love and respect. Rest in peace

My Dear Friend Hossein: I will miss your smile, your warm demeanor and your friendship. Since we met over 35 years ago, you have been a devoted friend and client. My heart goes out to Goli and your family and friends. The world will not be the same without you.
Love, Andy & Frannie Kutz
There are people in life whose presence brings comfort, strength, and a quiet sense of joy—you were one of those rare few. Your strength was steady, your presence grounding, and your kindness unwavering. I’m so grateful to have had someone like you in my life. You showed me what it means to live with character, to laugh fully, and to treat people with respect and love. The lessons you taught me—by how you lived, not just what you said—will stay with me for the rest of my life.
You cared so deeply about me and would always ask about my goals and aspirations that I want to achieve in this life. Your stories always resonated with me whether it was about keeping your integrity no matter how difficult a situation that life throws at you or cracking the funniest jokes out in public that had us laughing for hours. My brothers and I always share laughs together referencing jokes you made years ago when we were growing up.
I’ll miss coming to your house to talk about real estate over some tea, driving out to Long Island to pick up some fresh eggs, spending the day in upstate NY, and enjoying a slice together at Lombardi’s. I wish we got the chance to go to a Pink Floyd concert together.
You will be deeply missed by everyone and never forgotten.
Love,
Omeed Farhadi
We were so sad and sorry to hear the news of Hossein Joon’s passing. We are keeping his soul and our Ame Goli in our prayer! He was always so kind to us and always had the brightest smile on his face. I loved when he and Ame Goli would visit us and I will never forget how much fun we had when we visited them and stayed with him in New York. We will always remember his love and kindness.
Love,
Nikka, Ariyan, Zayn, and Remi Manshadi
