Barbara Jean Petorak, a lively and loving soul, passed away surrounded by those who loved her. She brought joy, laughter, and sparkle into people's lives. Barbara put her heart and soul into everything she did. Whether it was her family, her friends, or all the people she interacted with at the Cornwell Avenue School; she was always there to listen and offer support to anyone in need of a friend.

Barbara had a true passion for adventure- as long as she didn't have to drive. She loved to travel. Going to upstate New York, flying down to Miami, and especially enjoyed going on cruises—always ready for her next destination. A regular at the casino, she loved playing the slots, with games like the Wheel of Fortune machine being one of her favorites. Her fun-loving nature made her the life of any party. Outgoing and full of energy, she was a true social butterfly who never met a stranger.

At home, Barbara was always cleaning something—she took pride in keeping things neat and tidy. She also had a playful side, best reflected in her cherished teddy bear collection, with each bear lovingly named and each with its own spot in the room.

Barbara Jean Petorak will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her adventurous spirit, her supportive nature, and the warmth she brought into every room. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express by her son Bryan, her friends, her family, and her bears.
